How do I get my money’s worth out of selling a really old car? How would I sell it for parts?

I have this great old classic 1986 Lincoln Town Car. I’ve run ads to sell it but haven’t really got any hits. It needs work if it’s going to stay in running order, which brings down the cost anyone would want to pay for it. But there is a ton of stuff on it that is worth something piece by piece (leather seats in perfect condition, for example). Is it possible for me to sell out the parts myself, or do I have to be able to take them off the car and deliver them to a shop to do that? Any advice would be helpful and very much appreciated!

about all you can do in hopes to gain some cash from it is to part it out. no need for a shop or anything….just put on your ad’s that you are willing to part it out.

plus might help to take pics of stuff and list it on ebay to hit a wider selection of people. list the seats, carburator, tail lights, turn signals, gauges, radio, a/c controls, power window/door lock units, etc.
